Three Neoplan coaches for H Atkinson & Sons (Ingleby)
H Atkinson & Sons (Ingleby), of Northallerton, North Yorkshire, has just taken delivery of three new MAN Neoplan Tourliner coaches. Established in 1922, H Atkinson & Son’s coach fleet operates throughout the UK and Europe, o private hire, tours, group travel, schools and customer holidays.
A new 13.1m Neoplan Tourliner P10 is powered by an MAN 12.4-litre D26 engine and feature’s a ZF Ecolife automatic gearbox. The coach is fitted with 57 Brusa seats, all with leather headrests and piping, a centrally-mounted toilet, USB points to all passenger seats, air-conditioning, DVD and DAB radio with Bluetooth.
This was the first MAN coach to be handed over at the newly-opened, £5million Gateshead MAN dealership.
In addition H Atkinson & Sons has also put into service a new Neoplan Tourliner P10, with 57 seats, and a 61-seat three-axle P22. Both are powered by MAN Euro 6 engines, the P10 with 420bhp and the P22 with 460bhp ad have ZF automatic transmissions. These vehicles were handed over at MAN Truck & Bus, Trafford Park, Manchester.
