Wiesbaden receives first of ten H2.City Gold fuel cell buses

Following an order placed at the beginning of 2021, Wiesbaden has received the first of 10 Caetano H2.City Gold hydrogen buses.

The 12m hydrogen-powered buses will be operated by ESWE Verkehr on routes 16 and 17.

The two-door H2.CityGold buses will have a Toyota fuel cell, and a small battery pack with 44kWh capacity and a Siemens power train with 180kW peak power. The hydrogen tanks have a total capacity of 37.5kg to offer a range over 400km.

“We are very happy with the arrival of the first H2.City Gold in Wiesbaden,” says Patrícia Vasconcelos, CEO, CaetanoBus. “It’s a pleasure to have our mobility solutions chosen to be part of a sustainable and greener way of living in such an important market for us.”
