Switch India launches next generation Switch EiV 12 

Switch Mobility has launched a new electric bus platform ‘Switch EiV 12’ for the Indian market with two variants – EiV 12 low-floor and EiV 12 standard.

The Switch EiV range of buses have been configured to meet customer requirements for varied applications including intra-city, inter-city, staff, school and airport transfers. The buses are equipped with new generation, lithium-ion NMC modular batteries, specially formulated for the Indian market and climatic conditions. Switch says that the modular batteries increase the capacity per battery cell for the same weight, enabling higher range of kilometres – up to 300km/day with a single charge, and up to 500km/day with dual fast-charging.
