Netherlands monarch opens Ebusco factory

Ebusco’s new factory has been officially opened by King Willem Alexander of The Netherlands. The factory in Deurne will have a production capacity of 500 zero emission buses a year by 2022.

Since 2012, Ebusco has been producing emission-free electric buses and charging systems to support the transition to sustainable and affordable transport systems.

Its latest model, the Ebusco 3.0, is produced entirely in The Netherlands.

Peter Bijvelds, CEO Ebusco, says: “In our new factory hall in Deurne we will be scaling up the production of our latest bus model, the Ebusco 3.0. This new factory hall will serve as a blueprint for our international roll-out of production capacity. We are extremely proud that King Willem Alexander officially opened the factory hall.”
