Coach dealership Moseley (PCV) goes into administration
Long-established coach dealership Moseley (PCV) has gone into administration in the wake of the pressures of surviving through the lockdown. The company had earlier closed its Moseley in the South operation and consolidated operations at its Pontefract base. Mark Hodgett and Phil Pierce of business advisers FRP have been appointed as joint administrators and are now seeking a buyer for the business which is the importer of Beulas, Indcar and VDL coaches.
“Our priority is now to ensure minimum disruption for customers as we market the business for sale,” says Hodgett. “I would like to thank the firm’s employees for their continued support throughout this process.”
Twenty nine employees are believed to have been made redundant with eight retained to assist the administrators.
Airdrie-based Moseley Distributors is not affected and has re-assured customers that it is open for business.
