CaetanoBus’ first two hydrogen buses for Portugal
Cascais Municipality is purchasing two Caetano hydrogen buses, the first municipality in Portugal to invest in this technology. Both zero emission buses will be equipped with Toyota’s fuel cell and will offer a range of 400km.
The components such as hydrogen tanks, batteries and fuel cells, placed on the roof, allow a low-floor and an optimisation of the vehicle’s interior making it more spacious and providing a more comfortable experience for all passengers, according to Caetano.
The new hydrogen buses will join more than 30 units already ordered by operators in Germany, Spain, France and Denmark, reinforcing Caetano’s international presence.
