CaetanoBus continues its expansion in Europe with the delivery of the first H2.City Gold to Nobina in Denmark. The new hydrogen-powered bus starts operation this month for MOVIA in Copenhagen.
Nobina’s H2.City Gold is a standard 12m full low-floor bus with a light aluminum body and three doors. The vehicle is equipped with a Toyota fuel cell with 60kW nominal power, a Li-ion LTO battery pack with 44kWh capacity, and a Siemens power train with 180kW peak power.
The type IV hydrogen tanks have a total capacity of 37.5kg to offer a driving range of more than 400km on a single refill.
The vehicle is co-branded with Toyota since July 2021, making CaetanoBus the first bus company in Europe to use Toyota’s fuel cell technology as part of a strategic alliance between Toyota Motor Europe, KINTO, and CaetanoBus.
