ADL appoints Chris Gall as group engineering director

Alexander Dennis has appointed Chris Gall as its new group engineering director, tasked with developing the company’s product range in new technologies and new markets

Gall will lead ADL’s engineering team to shape the direction of technology development and respond to market demands as the bus industry transitions towards a zero-emission future. 

Gall joins ADL from Jaguar Land Rover where he most recently held the position of chief engineer for new electrified architecture following three years on the board of a joint venture in China. 

Prior to Jaguar Land Rover, he spent 17 years with Ford, several key engineering roles in across a variety of territories including the UK, USA, Turkey and Germany.
