Caetanobus and Passazhiravtotrans, the largest bus operator in north-western region of Russia, signed an agreement during Busworld Europe for a trial of the full-electric Caetano e.City Gold. The electric bus promises a range of up to 300 km on one charge and has passenger capacity for up to 87 people. St. Petersburg will be the first city in Russia to test the Caetano electric bus.
Passazhiravtotrans operates 2,000 buses and carries more than 300 million passengers.
At Busworld in addition to the e.City Gold electric bus, Caetano introduced H2.City Gold, its new hydrogen-powered bus which is the result of a partnership with Toyota.
