Surrey-based operator Falcon Coaches has taken delivery of a new Volvo B8R SB3 vehicle as the latest addition to its expanding fleet. Falcon specified the 72-seater B8R SB3 to service an increasing number of school contracts.
Richard Telling, Falcon Coaches owner, says: “We continue to return to Volvo as we have always found the vehicles extremely reliable with an excellent build, great operational performance and fuel consumption. The quality of our previous Volvo coaches made the decision to purchase the Volvo B8R an easy one.”
Volvo’s B8R Sunsundegui SB3 is a popular choice for school contract work with two-plus-three seating configuration and three-point seatbelts. This allows operators to carry the younger generation passengers efficiently as well as in comfort and safety.
“The increasing number of school contracts coming our way demand that our coaches have large seating capacity with quality and robust interiors,” adds Telling. “The B8R has proven to be suitable for frequent, everyday use and we are extremely happy with the quality from Volvo once again.”
Falcon Coaches is based in Byfleet, Surrey and has a fleet ranging from 16 to 72 seats.
