Birmingham International takes another Volvo B11R

Long-established family-owned operator, Birmingham International Coaches, has returned to Volvo for another Volvo B11R for its fleet of more than 30 vehicles, a repeat order from exactly one year ago.

With a seating capacity of 53, the new Volvo B11R has Jonckheere JHV2 bodywork and will provide coach services for a number of professional Midlands football and rugby teams. A luxury interior includes USB charge points for each seat and a motorised centre monitor.

“More than half of the vehicles that make up our fleet are built on the Volvo chassis and we have always been impressed by their reliability, fuel efficiency and build quality,” says Andy Watkiss, director, Birmingham International Coaches. “Following the success of the B11R JHV2 we purchased last year, we had no hesitation in repeating the order as the high specification is imperative for the contracts it’s earmarked for.”

Birmingham International Coaches was founded in 1977 and is based near to Birmingham Airport.
